MALAYSIAN WORLD LATIN SALSA CONGRESS LOGO DESIGN COMPETITION 2009 will be the 3rd year Salsa Havana organizes the Malaysian World Latin Salsa Congress. As most of you already know we will be holding the Congress next year in
Kuala Lumpur and it will be some-time in the middle of the year (May).
As Salsa Havana and the Committee of the Congress have always maintained the Malaysian World Latin Salsa Congress is a Salsa event created for the benefit of Malaysian Salsa Lovers, Malaysian Latin Dancing Enthusiasts and all Malaysian people.
The Malaysian World Latin Salsa Congress is your event and we would like to thank you again for your support.
In view of the fact that we would like all Malaysians to be a part of it and in our strive to keep improving the event we thought it would be fun to get everyone involved by organizing a competition for you to design a new logo for the Malaysian World Latin Salsa Congress.
 The previous logo encompasses the following characteristics:-

The Malaysian flag – to show the country that is hosting the event and to acknowledge the event is for Malaysians.

The map of
Latin America and the colors - to acknowledge the region and the dancers and musicians that created this wonderful dance and music

the salsa dancers around the globe – to signify how this dance unites people around the world
We would like the new logo to represent ALL or SOME of these aspects and characteristics. Most of all we would love for you to join us to create a Malaysian World Latin Salsa Congress logo that represents
Malaysia or the Malaysian people and our Salsa Congress.
