Dear Friends,
I have successfully completed my mission
in Malaysia and given you the opportunity to
have for the first time in the history of Malaysia
the first SALSA CLUB here in Kuala Lumpur.
There have been many Latin clubs that opened
before like El Nino, Rouge or Qbar. But I felt that
in order to help the Salsa community to grow and
to assist all the salsa dance schools it was necessary
for Malaysians to have a Salsa Club. I remember
seeing just a small group of people dancing Salsa
in the year 2000?
But there were a hand full of people that had the
dream and the passion and they were teaching salsa
in different night clubs. Most of these people have
opened dance studios and I wish them continued,
great success and growth. To the pioneers of salsa in
Malaysia….you know who you are……. we would
like to say a big thank you for your support.
I feel and believe I managed to give awareness to
everybody in Malaysia it does not matter what race,
religion or social position. By introducing new Salsa
music, events, DJs and approaching Salsa in different ways,
by promoting in the Radio and TV I have reached out to
the masses.
Now it is time to go but many friends have found and made
new friends, families or new girlfriends or wives in Salsa
and we know that like us many people have lots of wonderful
memories of Salsa Havana.
Thank you for being a part of Salsa Havana. I really hope to
see you before we close, dancing Salsa, Bachata or Merengue.
Also if you want to do a final performance in Salsa Havana
you are welcome
Til next time
